Determined and ambitious, Anouk shows to be a successful woman. She’s competitive and passionate about everything she does, and will give her all to succeed in it -- even if it’s not her strong suit.  With a slight superiority complex, she takes pleasure in mentoring others. With the addition of being hot headed she takes offense to insults easily, and will often start fights over small things. Despite this temper, she’s extremely compassionate and enjoys helping those in need of it, especially those who are disabled. This was more than likely caused by her “mothers,” since one of them was paraplegic. She will do all in her power to help someone who needs it.

Anouk grew up in lumiere with loving parents and a sister, Bernadette, about 9 years older than herself. Life was good and things were fine -- school was easy, her parent’s relationship was better than ever, and everything was just.. Happy. Her whole life was perfect, she had nothing to worry about. News had eventually come to her parents that her uncle’s wife was murdered, and by whom they had no idea. Years passed since then, and eventually her parents were attacked. Fortunately for them, Anouk and Bernadette weren’t home to see the disaster.

By the time they came home, they’d found their parents dead -- both brutally massacred by the psychopath they once called their uncle. The sister’s were quite young at this time, Anouk only 7 years old and Bernadette being 16. Unable to live alone quite yet, they sought refuge with Bernadette’s secret girlfriend who happened to be living alone and 2 years older than the girl. Anouk didn’t quite understand the situation and was too traumatized by the sight of her parent’s corpses to really consider their situation.

Life.. Continued on and the 3 of them grew quickly. Time passed by like a flash with nothing very noteable other than a few memories together here and there. Anouk grew to consider them her mothers, in replacement to one’s who birthed and raised her. She did in fact realize that they were her sister and sister-in-law, though they didn’t mind being called mother by her.

Around 16 or 17 years old at this time, Anouk and Bernadette were out of the house in the evening, looking for something to entertain the two while Alma, her other mother or sister-in-law, was in the hospital. She was to be moved into a wheelchair due to an accident at work, resulting in the woman becoming paraplegic. While the two were strolling along the border of Arcobaleno and Diavolo, they were attacked by the same man who had killed their precious parents.

Ordered to run, Anouk disobeyed her sister and stayed to protect her.It was a long fight, and the Salamence was eventually caught by the wing, and held hostage until her sister retaliated harder than before. Their uncle had a knife to the girl’s throat, and Bernadette was frozen, out of fear she might make a wrong move. Anouk’s thoughts were soon coming together, and her two options were to fight or die. She threw her head back, to hit the man in the face and hopefully knock him away from her, but he still had her wing in his hand. Bernadette sped forward with her blade unsheathed, in an attempt to slice through their attacker’s arm -- though Anouk was pulled back with him as the man stumbled, and Bernadette cut straight through her sister’s wing.

A sharp cry in pain, Anouk pulled away from the two and was commanded to run agaishen.. She did as she was told this time, leaving her sister for dead unintentionally.

Immediately she ran back to her parents house, figuring that if the man were to follow her it would be better to lead him to a place where he couldn’t kill anymore of her loved ones. She stayed for a few hours, trying to clean herself up wrapping bandages around her shoulder and back to cover the missing wing and hopefully reduce blood loss before finally leaving to go to the hospital Alma was staying in.

Alma was told everything, and that Anouk would do anything in her power to avenge her sister and parents. As soon as the two left the hospital, Anouk bought an apartment with two rooms where she now takes care of her widowed sister-in-law.

They’ve really got a sort of love/hate relationship between them. While Anouk is affectionate in ways that Acidia doesn’t understand, Acidia constantly blows her off. She’s annoying in the Scolipede’s opinion and a real waste of space. Though this is true, she’s constantly denying the fact that she sort of enjoys the attention she gets from Anouk.

Anouk on the other hand, enjoys flirting with Acidia and making her feel uncomfortable, especially around people Acidia cares about. She likes to see Acidia embarrassed and laughs about it a lot. Just wait until she sees Cyrus and Acidia together -- this harassment will grow to a whole new level.
